Andrew Palau Wraps Mandeville Opener of 3-City Jamaican Festival

In the largest public gathering ever seen in Mandeville, Jamaica, the Best Dressed 50Fest with Andrew Palau wrapped Sunday night, April 27, as tens of thousands packed the playfield of Manchester High School for two days of entertainment and messages of hope. Media reports put the estimated attendance at 35,000+.

Some of Jamaica's top gospel artistes - Carlene Davis, Chevelle Franklyn, DJ Nicolas, Echoes of Joy, Omari and Prodigal Son - mixed and mingled with a large turnout of entertainment and news media at a Jamaica Broilers Group-sponsored "Evening of Music and Fellowship", held at the Prayz House at the top of the New Kingston Shopping Centre on Thursday, April 17.

Jamaica Broilers is celebrating their 50th anniversary by partnering with churches across Jamaica to invite you to Best Dressed 50 Fest. You don’t want to miss this FREE celebration!

Happening in three locations on different dates (see information at left), culminating with the big event in Kingston, each celebration features the same exciting festival components. During the day, you’ll find spectacular skateboard and motorcycle stunts at a huge Extreme Sports Park, a Family Fun Zone filled with games and activities for children of all ages, community information and health screenings in the Community Care Area, and all your favorite dishes available for purchase at a delicious Food Court.

At night, fabulous Jamaican and U.S. musical acts will perform on the main stage. Be there May 3-4, 2008, at a brand new venue on the grounds of King’s House created specially for this wonderful event, to hear international evangelist Luis Palau. He’s returning to Kingston to share an incredible message of hope!
